Tri-Cities Bridge Program

Since 2007, the Tri-Cities Bridge Shelter has been operating nightly from 10 PM – 7 AM during the period November 1st – March 31st. The program is operated by the Hope For Freedom Society using host church facilities in the Tri-Cities on a rotating basis. Homeless persons are picked up at designated muster points in the Tri-Cities and bused to the shelter location, which has a capacity of 30 mats. Shelter patrons are provided with supper, breakfast and a bag lunch, dry clothes if necessary and a warm, safe place to sleep. The Bridge Shelter will be replaced with a permanent full-service, year-round emergency shelter in October 2015.
